I love the food there. Had a few questions about my ticket being I ordered by phone. I had a server belittle me in front of 7 people because I was Lost about a Togo container charge. I have never had this anywhere and tells me "everywhere charges for this". "I know". Um food service for years and that's new to me and quite a few people. Like I said food was excellent cudos to the kitchen staff. I send people there all the time and to get belittled over an honest question........ Bad business. I feel like nothing will happen, makes me sad.
Wow what can I say this is a true hidden gem. They smoke there ribs for twelve hours and make your food from scratch when you order it. It may take a little longer than other restaurants but the food is sooo worth it. The dinners and staff all seem to prefer a slower place and are friendly and helpful.
Cook's is a wonderful place to eat. The food is always really great, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always very quiet and peaceful. Plus, the pricing is very fair for the quality. Even better is that since it's locally owned any money you spend here will be returned back into the Springfield community instead of to a big corporation. I eat here all the time and I've never had a bad experience here.
