Overall store has been declining for several years. Bakery is great! Deli is typically understaffed, and they constantly have issues with the soda machines. The manager needs to improve staffing (need more than two to run deli registers, fulfill orders, make pizzas and hotdogs, refill soda syrup, etc, especially at lunch when they are the busiest).
In addition to that, as an added surprise bonus/"members perk", if you're one of the "lucky ones" you catch them running shift changes and/or break & lunch rotations, with NOBODY ELSE to cover, including the rest of the front end "management" or any other associate for that matter!
Some of the items were even right up front as we walked in and were on sale on top of that.
This has been the case at this location 100% of the time over the past +16 years.
Good bargains to be had if you know your prices. Meats always good and able to be cut to your liking as long as you don't want it ground up. Plus membership pays for itself with its perks, if you go to the club regularly.
I enjoy going to Sam's because it has such a variety of all sorts of clothes household items food and I also get to walk around the store for exercise.
This location however, regardless of the time of year, season, or day has ALWAYS staffed their front lanes with NO MORE than JUST 4 cashiers.
Very easy to get all of the things that we needed to for this trip to Sam's.
Love going to sams (just not on the weekend, too busy). I always leave with more than I went for.
For that reason I'm graciously giving them a very generous and gratuitous 2 stars.
