I like habor freight, i can always find what I'm looking for at a affordable price. But my hang up with is checking out, all the freaking questions they ask during checkout. I don't have time for this, lines are too long cause of it. I really think they need to invest in key cards. It's way faster, save time and make more money.
Good place to get cheap tools. Quality is usually bad though.
They have good hand and pneumatic tools that don't cost a fortune. Place is clean and neat.
Was in need of a band saw fast. Checked every where and had no luck finding one in stock. As a last resort I called Harbor Freight and the store was about 150 miles away that said they had one. It was supposed to be $899.00. I drove all the way there to get told that they did not have one in stock and I should have called to check first. At which point I said I did and also found the employee that I talked to. So after wasting my time and money on gas to get there. They would not try to make it right in any way. Told me if I wanted I could order it and it would be in in 3 weeks. Needless to say I will never shop in any of there stores again. It was at the Springfield Illinois location. I did end up buying a band saw that same day from a company that specializes in machinery. Cost $1398.00 but I am sure it is better than anything that harbor freight has to offer. Anyone needing any tools would be by far better spending a little more money and getting quality tools.
It is much cleaner and the products are all faced and recovered. Looks like they have a new manager. I had a return on an item that failed and it was handled quickly.
