I started in a room that smelled like a methane gas main had cracked, but they quickly moved me to another without any qualms and said that maintenance was looking into it. The new room was nice, big and comfy with a mini-fridge and and a leather couch. No weird noises and plenty of hot water. Great stay.
The venue is ideal for conferences. It can handle a decent crowd. But having been there before, I was prepared for the incredibly long lines for the ladies room. As usual, no line in the men's side. The ladies room by the middle of the day we're without toilet paper and paper towels. That probably could have been easily remedied.
Overall nice. I did not use the fitness facility or the pool.
I stayed for a work conference. It was clean, my room looked recently renovated. The room thermostat was wacky. First night I was able to run the fan but not get cool air, and second night I was able to get some cool, but the fan wouldn't blow. I heard similar reports from other conference attendees.
Great location near interstate and shopping. Rooms are modern, clean and well furnished. Breakfast and room service are both delicious, as well as the lounge/bar. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Would love to go back again. Visited on a weekend getaway for my anniversary and it was a wonderful time.
Upscale, comfortable, hotel with plenty of amenities. The airport shuttle driver Jeff knew everything about this hotel and was very positive; deserves a raise. Staff very polite room clean, cool and a working iron. Food was delicious. Here for convention and would highly recommend as preferred choice in Springfield.
Attended a two-day conference here but didn't stay overnight. The Crowne Plaza has excellent facilities and services. The catered lunches were delicious, especially the desserts!
