A friend and I just had a terrible experience at Smokey Bones for lunch. The service was very slow and our order came out in bits and pieces over the course of 50 minutes and was not prepared according to the menu. We felt like we pretty much had to beg to get our full order filled including out appetizer which we didn't get till last at the end of our meal when we had to race to get out of there to get back to work. On top of that they screwed up the bill. It was pretty much a disaster after we ordered our food.
A good place to hangout at, in Springfield. If you are a veggie, then too you have a some options to choose from, not like other restaurants in Springfield. Worth the money. For non veggie lovers it is like a feast.
Updated 11-10-17, dinner tonight consisted of pulled pork Nachos which were damm good, trio of tacos, not to bad and unfortunately Memphis style dry rub chicken wings which were severely overcooked not good at all.
amazing service our server Dave was great. food was really great. Cornbread stellar! The sampler thsts priced for 2, 3or more was rather small for 2 people. Loved my ribs with mash potatoes and broccoli. Will be back
Lunch size pulled pork pockets. Delicious! The wait for food and service not good.
Great atmosphere. I had, by far, the biggest and one of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. If you are up for a challenge I highly recommend going for their challenge burger.
Note: Before ordering the full course meal, order one portion of the course meal to have an idea of the quantity. One item from the menu can serve 2-3 people; so when you are here for dine-in, don't end up taking it as take away. ☺
