They know actually what I want when I come in, and it's always good. Just wished it looked nicer
One night I made a complaint about the way my eggs were cooked. They were supposed to be over easy but were way over done. The server, Brian, took cooked me some more eggs that came out perfect. Coming back from the ladies room the manager, Sarah, stopped me and asked what I had ordered and if I liked it. I told her what I had and that the eggs were overcooked. She let me know that she had cooked them and argued the point that they were cooked over easy. Brian stepped in and said they were over medium verging on hard. She then argued some more before letting me go. Now every time my husband and I go in there she makes it a point to ask if we ordered and what we ordered. Also knowing that my husband is diabetic she brought him a lemonade that she admitted had lots of sugar in it. Yet mine was so sour I couldn't even drink it. To me this was very unproffessional and childish behavior. Not to mention very dangerous to my husband's health. And all of this because of an egg? I will never go in that restaurant again. I don't trust her anymore.
We come here fairly often (every couple of months, sometimes more) and each time the servers are so friendly to both my husband and I as well as our girls. They have occasionally gone above and beyond by giving my unhappy kiddo some goldfish crackers for free, or by offering some free grapes to a birthday girl. They are sometimes slammed, but they are mindful to their customers all the time. We have made it tradition to dine at Dennys on Christmas for the past 7 years and have always been served by smiling faces.
Had the peanut butter cream pancakes and my boyfriend had the sticky bun pancakes, they were delicious, our waitress Brandy was fantastic! She was funny, warm, and had some great suggestions, will definitely be coming back
Food is always good, people are always friendly, they always put extra condiments in my to-go orders which I appreciate
