located on the historic rt 66 this place is a little hard to find (the sign says "Sunrise Donuts") but it's worth eating here! very good authentic Mexican food and the owners are very polite. will definitely stop in on our next visit to Springfield,Illinois.
Very nice place. Decided to stop to this small joint to have a quick bite. Food was good and service was great. Not a 5 star place because the food was not 100% authentic.
This family owned and operated resturaunt works hard to make some of the best Latin-American cuisine in town. The place is small and usually fills up quickly around lunch and dinner hours. Before your order arrives you'll be treated to a caddy with four different salsas to choose from of varying flavors and spicy intensities. The food comes out quick, hot, and delicious. Checkout is quick and easy on the bank account. The small place is in the old Sunrise Cafe that had a doughnut on top that is still there making it easy to identify.
Great lunch stop. One of the best on town actually. Wish less people knew about it so we could get a table quicker.
