The place always smells a little funny but the food selection is great. If something you usually buy is missing or you're looking for a certain product, just ask the owner and they'll usually have it the next week.
Love this place for many reasons... the fresh products mostly and that it is local. However, note to management. The last 3 times I've been in or called the place seems to be under high stress, unfriendly, and extremely curt and short. Running a business is high stress yes, but the go away and leave me alone attitude could actually work which would be a terrible terrible thing for everyone. Hope what ever is happening gets resolved as you are a big contribution to choice food in Springfield and thank you for that!
Country Market has the freshest best tasting produce. They get as much as they can from local farmers. And their meat is the best you can get. Every time I grill a steak from here I don't think it gets any better!
