Thank you so much for recommending the Sirrus Specialized Elite Bicycle for my 'now truly wonderful cycling experience'. By far the nicest ride I have ever had in all my years of riding a bicycle. I was especially amazed at how comfortable the saddle feels; so small yet has enough cushion to feel like I can ride all day without worries. Next purchase will be a bike carrier so I can attend organized rides outside of the Taylorville area. Thanks again for a great recommendation on this bicycle.
Ive had the worst experience possible. I feel like I was robbed. 8 months ago I bought a $1600 folding electric bike from this place after being reassured it was exactly what I wanted. Since then the bike has been back to the shop 7 times and it broke again this morning. THE HANDLEBARS ARE FOLDING WHILE I'M RIDING. The handlebars have the ability to fold because it's a folding bike, this lock broke while riding about 10 days ago. There was a very dangerous wreck caused by the handle bars falling, I went over the handlebars. I took it back to the shop and he fixed it tuesday while calling it normal wear and tear. Today, Saturday morning, the bike folded again while riding. The same place in the handlebars that this shop fixed 4 days before, once a gin causing me to go over my handlebars. PLEASE JUST DON'T RISK IT, THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING.
My wife and I were visiting the Illinois State Fair. I had an afternoon free and wanted to ride for a couple hours. Bicycle Doctors had me ready to go in 15 minutes. I rode to a couple of historical locations and read every plaque. Great shop, great service.
a thousand thanks to the bike doctors. They helped me out tremendously on my bike trip from CO to MA. Earlier in the day while biking into springfield I noticed my rack was broken and that my gears we not shifting properly. The bike doctors helped me out that same day. They are locally owned, reasonably priced, and extremely nice people. Because of them I am back on my bike. Thank you Robert and Bob
