Not quite 5 star service. The movie experience is solid and the IMAX is astonishing. Just wish the building had a little bit better service and was a little bit cleaner. Also wouldn't mind recliner seats. I know thats nothing to complain about, but my favorite theaters have that. However, this is the best to go for movies in Springfield.
The good-Loved the seating, so comfortable. The not so fabulous -it was hot, no air it felt like. In order to go to the restroom or snack bar, everyone has to get up in your row, as the seating is closer than regular. They keep the lights on in the projector booth so sit closer to the screen if you don't want back lighting. I'm hoping it's just a work in progress there and they can get the kinks worked out. Not sure if we will go back.
Overall a good place to go. However as somone with bad knees, the seats are too close to the ones in front to adequately move legs so unless I get a row with bars or an aisle seat it can be torturous. Don't have that problem with the other theaters in town.
Played movie in subtitle when it should have been dubbed in English. But they did give us passes to make up for it... Nice theatre [there than that.
Great ambiance. Service has always been good. Food is expensive but I think that is typical of movie theaters.
