Our pup Chewie absolutely loved it there! They were great. I will be taking him there again the next time I need to.
We always bring our dogs here! It's not extravagant at all but very affordable, and the dogs are well taken care of. Penny is very nice and accommodating. It is just out of town, so it is much more peaceful and quiet than the city. I know people take their pets here during the 4th of July because you can't here the fireworks.
I love this place! I have never had a problem with my dogs not being cared for. The owners are so loving and so flexible. I couldn't ask for a better place to watch over my babies while I am away. They have always been very clean and will let you take your own dogs to the back. That speaks highly to their facility, as some places won't do that. Which makes you wonder what's going on. Not the case with K9.
I recently started using K9 Kennels within the past year for my two German Shepherds. I wish I would have started using them sooner. I frequently need to use a kennel for short weekend trips and K9 Kennels has always been accommodating and they allow Sunday pickups that most kennels don't usually offer. Their prices are very reasonable and the owners are great people. Highly recommend, my pups have found their forever kennel.
Amazingly attentive and caring for the price. Rick and Penny are friendly and truly care for each dog. They understand that each dog has a different personality, and are more than accommodating to each pup's needs. My pit is very selective about people. If these two can get Mamma to soften up to them, then they know what they're doing. I would recommend Rick and Penny to anyone who wants to know that his or her four-legged family member is well attended to. Many negative reviews about K-9 Kennels are simple misunderstandings or are from individuals who don't quite understand that dogs are likely to get mud, feces, urine on them from time to time. They're animals, people.
